The MATAIHAO Coal Mine of Erdos Yongcheng Coal Mine Industry Investment Co. Ltd. in province of Inner Mongolia operates a service shaft equipped with a large cage - counterweight hoist for material hoisting and men-riding and a transportation cage - counterweight hoist for men riding.
In 12 June, 2009, XCMSE was awarded a contract of two off big skips c/w head and tail rope attachments by Erdos Yongcheng Coal Mine Industry Investment Co. Ltd.
The large double deck cage is designed for materials and large equipment hoisting and men-riding. Cage and counterweight are guides with roller guides on guide rails in the shaft. At loading stations on shaft mouth and shaft bottom the cage will be fixed and guided in corner guides while the guide rails will be interrupted at the cage entry and exit side.
The conveyances are fitted to the head ropes with rope attachments which hydraulically adjust the unbalanced load between the conveyances. The head ropes are of round stranded type.
The tail ropes designed as flat ropes will be connected to the conveyances with the tail rope attachments.
